Craps Odds
Every bet on the layout, ranked by what it costs you
Craps has some of the best bets in the casino sitting right next to some of the worst. Every bet comes from the same 36 ways two dice can land, so every house edge can be worked out exactly.

How to play craps with the lowest edge
Bet the pass line or don't pass, then take as much free odds as the table allows once a point is set. The odds bet pays true odds, so it carries no house edge at all, and the more of your money sits there, the lower your overall cost. Place bets on 6 and 8 are the only other bets close behind. The center of the table, the propositions and hardways, is where the house makes its money.
What doesn't work
No betting system, pressing ladder or pattern changes the edge on any bet; it only changes how fast and how widely your bankroll swings. The dice have no memory.
Practice it free
The free craps simulator lays out every bet with its odds, so you can learn the table before you bring real money to it.
